Ordo - Expert Eyes on Your Programme, in Seconds

Ordo is Projjex's programme assurance tool. Upload a Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject or Excel programme and get the scrutiny a senior planner would give it - a DCMA 14-point and CIOB Planning Protocol 2021 assessment, critical path and delay analysis, drift and gap analysis, recovery scenarios and a Monte Carlo completion forecast - in seconds.

What Is Ordo?

Ordo is an automated programme assurance and schedule review platform built by Projjex for contractors, subcontractors, commercial managers and clients who need to know whether a construction programme holds up - without waiting days for a planner to read through it. You upload a schedule file (Primavera P6 .xer or .xml, Asta Powerproject, or an Excel programme) and Ordo returns a clear, evidenced report: a single A-F grade, a CIOB PP21 compliance verdict, and a full breakdown of the risks hiding in the logic.

It is not a chatbot reading your programme as text and guessing. Ordo parses every activity, link, lag, calendar and constraint and runs the actual DCMA 14-point, CIOB Planning Protocol 2021 and critical-path calculations - the same file gives the same result every time, and every finding points back to the exact activity IDs behind it.

What Ordo Checks

Ordo assesses your construction programme against the two standards that matter in the UK and internationally, then goes further:

  • DCMA 14-Point Assessment - the industry benchmark for schedule quality: logic, leads and lags, relationship types, hard constraints, high float, negative float, high duration, invalid dates, resources, missed tasks, critical path test and critical path length index.
  • CIOB Planning Protocol 2021 (PP21) - a UK compliance verdict on whether the programme is fit to plan, manage and defend a project.
  • Fourteen further integrity checks - detached and dangling logic, redundant links, out-of-sequence progress, oversized lags and ALAP overuse: the faults that break a network from the inside.

Will It Finish On Time? A Feasibility Verdict

A programme can pass every logic check and still be built to a date almost no one would hit. On top of the standards, Ordo gives a plain, forward-looking verdict - on course, under pressure or at risk of finishing late - drawn from the indicators that actually predict slippage: the Baseline Execution Index (are activities completing at the planned rate?), the Critical Path Length Index (is float on the driving path being eaten into?), negative float, and how compressed the remaining work has become. It is the "should I be worried?" answer, up front.

Monte Carlo Completion Forecast

The critical-path date assumes every activity lands exactly as drawn. Ordo runs a Monte Carlo schedule risk simulation - the network recalculated thousands of times, each remaining duration sampled from an optimistic / most-likely / pessimistic band with a systemic correlation so related activities move together - to show how likely that date really is.

You get the full confidence spread, P10 through P95, with a completion date against each. The number that matters is the gap between your planned date and the P80 - the honest measure of how much contingency, or exposure, the programme is really carrying. It is the kind of quantified schedule-risk analysis usually reserved for a hand-built QSRA, on every report.

Drift, Gap & Recovery Analysis

Beyond a single snapshot, Ordo compares two programme revisions to show drift and gap: what slipped, what was compressed, where float went and the impact on the critical path - even when the headline completion date holds. If a project is behind, Ordo models recovery scenarios (crashing, fast-tracking and combined recovery) on a live critical-path engine, with the time saved, cost and risk of each option.

Expert Judgement on Top of the Numbers

Ordo adds an AI forensic-planner read on top of the calculations: activities light on detail, logic that cannot be built, durations compressed without method. It is the judgement the numbers alone cannot give you - and because every check ties back to specific activities, the output is an evidence trail you can put in front of a contractor, client or contract administrator, not just a score.

What You Walk Away With

Every review produces more than a score - it produces things you can act on and hand over:

  • The full assurance report (PDF) - grade, feasibility verdict, Monte Carlo forecast, every check, the expert read and a prioritised corrective action plan, emailed to you.
  • A one-page executive summary - the grade, the will-it-finish verdict and the top three priorities on a single page, ready to forward to a director or client.
  • A planner's punch-list (Excel) - every flagged activity with its ID, WBS, the issue and the exact fix, in priority order, to work straight through in P6 or Asta.

How Ordo Works

  • 1. Upload - drag in a .xer, .xml or .xlsx schedule. Nothing to install.
  • 2. Analyse - scored against DCMA 14-point, CIOB PP21 and Ordo's critical-path engine.
  • 3. Report - a clear, evidenced report emailed to you, ready to hand to a client.

Who Ordo Is For

Ordo is built for main contractors and subcontractors checking their own tender, baseline and target programmes; commercial managers and quantity surveyors interrogating a contractor's submission before relying on it; planners who want a fast, defensible second opinion; and clients and contract administrators assessing programmes for acceptance under NEC and other contracts. If you deal with construction planning and programming activities - baseline programmes, progress updates, extension of time programmes or delay analysis - Ordo gives you senior planner scrutiny in seconds.

Your Programme Stays Yours

The core analysis runs on Projjex's own engine. Your programme file is never posted anywhere, never sold, and never used to train any AI model. Ordo is a Projjex product - the same senior NEC, planning and forensic expertise behind our consultancy, delivered as a tool.
